For this project choose & research a social cause that you find important. Te goal is to create a poster that will effectively communicate to the viewer why your cause is important. Think of your poster as a visual persuasive essay.
Step 1.
Write down / list as many ideas and topics as you can.
Step 2.
Pick the two ideas you feel strongest about, also consider which topics you think you can translate well into a poster format. Do research for both topics, dig deeper than just a few google searches.
Step 3.
Sketch both your ideas on paper, brainstorm key-words and phrases you can use in your poster, create a mind map for each idea.
Step 4.
Design your poster in Illustrator or Indesign, your poster should be in a vertical 13” x 19” format.
